[GreenKeys] Interesting device may be available

I have a "Multi Contact Distributor" accessory, just sitting on my 28 keyboard, doing nothing.
From its name and how it looks, it is an auxiliary 'serializer' that can operate independent
from the Model 28 machine. It has its own 'trip solenoid' and a multi wire connector much like
the ones that connect the keyboard and printer to the LESU. I don't have anything connected to
it. Never have.
It is just sitting there, adding drag to the overall system.
If anyone knows how it was ever used, I will be interested. I have four above average photos
of it available to anyone who asks.
I might be talked out of it for postage and a coffee, to a person who can and will use it.
A source of properly timed, parallel data is fed into it and the solenoid tripped, and the
"Multi Contact" part turns it into serial data. I will guess that this is not normally put
in series with the host machine's signal loop, but I could well be wrong.
This was given to me many years ago, and I had visions of finding some of those 'stepping
relays' from an old pinball machine, to hardwire with my call and other 'repetitive data'
to be sent out with the push of a button.
I have my doubts as to whether it would mount on an ASR keyboard. It gets its mechanical
power from the gear train on the same shaft as the large 'speed' gear.
Everyone reading this now knows as much as I do, and I suspect that there are a number of
'GreenKeyers' out there who may have seen and used one of these before, and will hopefully
have more info about it.
