You are correct. I have to get around a stairway. I will have to either lift it above the railing or put it on its end and wheel around it. Yes, I will use a harbor freight dolly.

Eugene - how about putting wheels under it? or is there an area that you can not make a turn?
We have crammed 2 ASRs into the museum and used 7.95 harbor freight flat dolly at each end.
Just have a friend to help lift and slide dolly under each end
Even smaller footprint is to put casters on it.

Hello all,
I am moving into a new shack in the house. I have moved the KSR by brute force. Now it is time for the ASR which will need some dismantling. It has been several years since I took this apart to move it into its current location.
I have removed the metal guard above the keyboard. I think I will have to remove the page printer and the keyboard. Looking around it seems there is a large bed plate that holds the printer as well as the perforator. (no under dome reperf on this one). Do I take this whole bed out? Do I leave the printer and perf attached to the bed as I remove it? What about the keyboard? Is that integral to the printer or does it come out separately from the printer?
The objective is to reduce the weight of this thing so I can maneuver it around. Most likely I will have to put it on its side on a moving dolly.
Thanks in advance
