[GreenKeys] Model 28 ASR Keyboard Gasket

I am going to have to install a gasket between the keyboard and the frame of the model 28 ASR I have been fixing up. Since there is no gasket I was able to find someone that has sent me one but wanted to seek any advice regarding installing it. 
Is there a quick and dirty way to install it or do I have to take the keyboard and associated parts apart in order to put the gasket on? 
Also, can someone maybe suggest the proper manual on line that may show the proper way ? 
I have not actually gotten a model 28 ASR repair manual. Just some others on line.
