Eastland Texas, 3760 people. Fortunately, they're pairs with the
store owners other business, a stationary supply and a local
internet provider.

Additionally, I was talking to a manager of a standalone 'Shack,
and they mentioned the points quota system. If you don't meet
your monthly quota (sales) you're fired.

This leads to overly aggressive sales people. "You have questions,
we have products and cell phone plans you don't need."
