Hello to all,

I am new to this group, joined mainly to get you opinion. I have 2 TTY machines that have been with me for over 45 years. I believe that one is a Model 100, there is no nameplate on it, but it has the platen that moves back and forth, not the typehead. I also have it's original cabinet, but it could use a paintjob. It was working fine the last time I fired it up. I also have, if I remember correctly, a Model 14 strip printer with a few rolls of the gummed paper too. It also was working fine, but it has been a really long time since I had it fired up. In addition, I have a piece of test equipment, will have to go check it's name, but, it is a TTY test set that sends the 'Quick brown fox..." message or RY with the flip of a switch, plus has 5 switches on the front to dial in any letter to send to a machine. Handles 20 and 60 mil loops and operates at various speeds.

I used to operate RTTY with these, but lost interest as people migrated to screens. Not much interest in things that are too easy. If there is any activity that utilizes the old stuff, I might just return them to service, but otherwise, may consider selling them. I have only seen my page printer one place, in an old Ronald Reagan movie from the 1930's. I had to replace its motor in the 70's when it burned up in the middle of a long text. Remember getting it from Typetronics down in FLA for about 20 bucks including the shipping. Any thought on this stuff, good or bad?
