If it has Express Card slots then you can get RS232 adaptors like this:-
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Free-shipping-Express-Card-to-RS232-Serial-Port-Adapter-Laptop-/141654215724?hash=item20fb3fcc2c
but not sure if that goes down to 50 baud. I actually bough one of these:-
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161409953336?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 <http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161409953336?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT> &ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
which has custom baud rates that go down to 45 baud.

In my case the only computer near the TTY is a laptop. No RS 232, no terminal program, just usb. some 2.0 some 3.0. Win 8.1 with nag screens to upgrade to 10.
I'd love to try the RTTY chess program and HEAVYMETAL but I know I will run into frustration with the computer to Loop interface. Win version?, loop current limit, usb speed, usb drivers.
If these programs used audio as the I/O, all problems solved, I just need a TU with loop current. (Which I have several).
The frustrating part on my end is there are programs aplenty that talk 45.5 baud via audio, MMTY and all the other ham decoders. Is it possible for some computer whiz to patch RS232 programs into something like MMTY?

Makes a lot of sense, if you have some kind of AFSK to loop converter.
