[GreenKeys] ST-6000 from Ebay

Hello Greenkeys,
I just picked up an ST-6000 from Ebay. Auction was a "for parts or needs repair". Seller only knows that it powers up and the scope does nothing, otherwise untested. Looks good, comes with plugs/jacks, and original box, not sure about a manual. 

I have a nice model 28, a 160 meter loop antenna that can hear quite well, and I'm
 interested in receive only for now. If nothing on the bands, am ready to feed audio from the Internet. 

Assuming the ST-6000 is OK, help me understand what I need to get this going. I have PC based FSK capability from an FT-950, but have NO TU experience. Maybe I'm
Lucky and it comes with a manual, if not, should I be looking for one?
