I was able to find a purchaser for the Teletype.  I appreciate all the
efforts to come to the rescue of this classic machine.  The person who
purchased the machine bought it for a friend who works on old
computer-related machines and then shares them with students at Princeton
University for educational purposes.  Princeton does not budget for this so
any contributions are made by the volunteer himself.  So, this machine will
be well cared for and shared with students and may perhaps have a permanent
home at Princeton for future generations to enjoy.

Thought you'd like to know its fate.
