[GreenKeys] Theory of operation, Model 15

Greetings ALL,
A previous post about the existence of a WWII manual covering practical theory 
of operation of the model 15 really sparked my interest.
I have two model 15 Lorenz machines I'd like to restore but I must admit I am pretty fuzzy on what all the gears, shafts and cams do. I  know what goes in and what comes out but in between 
I am pretty weak.
Not seeing anything posted about the WWII manual, can anyone suggest a good theory/how to book, article
