I didn't look at the ebay site for that particular connector but i've got a
box with multiple switch's on it that has a 33 pin male jones or chassis
mount on it. I'd like to find a 33 pin female type for it. There are ways
to get around having to buy one of those using push on blade type
connectors. It certainly would be a feasible way to get around it and would
enable one to make wiring changes a lot easier.
Power off before changing wiring configurations!

I know its been a while since I sent this, but it would appear E- Bay might
be to blame for some of these silly high prices. I spoke to someone who was
selling an Analog computer, and it had a mildly excessive starting price and
wasnt getting any bids. He said he had just set it to what E-Bay suggested,
so apparently it now suggests starting prices for Items. Any way he reduced
the stating price and withing an hour he had 10 bids and he was back over
his starting price

P.S. Any one got any 33-way Jones sockets. They are £33.00 on E-Bay

Hi Dave,
I don't think you can blame eBay, its the vendors that set prices too high
in the first place.
I was interested in a 300-0-300 mains transformer that had a starting bid of
£48 but in my view this is too high for a used item.
The 7B does look good but I reckon he should at least move the decimal point
one place left to be nearer the mark.
I think £100 for the 7B & 6S/6M.
I see he also has a Creed 75 with a 115v governed motor but without paper
tape facilities although it is dual speed.
He is asking £500 'Buy it now' but I think £100 is more likely to sell it.
that's just my idea of course and others are welcome to have their own
values.

Don't you just love horrors like this:-
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201140580464
The vendor obviously thinks the price is high, but by saying "nearest offer"
they have turned it into a blind auction where you know you are going to get
ripped off....
... any thoughts on what a reasonable price for this would be. It does look
immaculate...

P.S. if any one has a 5-level reader in Europe they would part with I would
be glad to pay a "reasonable" price.
