yes wasn't the 32 fro 99 cents starting bid on ebay have a real telex
modem?
I forget... the link. but I saw something for sale recently
with one.
ok I went and looked.... I get my twx's and telexs mixed up but
here is a 32 baudot machine with modem western union

I would like to play with the telex too... but my western union is a
33 with a modem in it...
and the 32 we have.... long before I got it had it's telex removed
and was used as a
terminal for the Deaf and Hard of Haring.

yea looks like they are having fun with the iTelex indeed~

Hello everyone.

I'm looking for a Telex machine.

After researching Henning's reply to "Heathkit":

"We call it i-Telex.
About 30+ members mostly in Germany, but also Australia, Canada, Italy,
the Netherlands.

see:
http://francokok.com/index.php/telex-phone

a better (own) website to come....

73,
Henning DF3OE"

I thought- this sounds interesting. Anyone know where

an unwanted machine might be? There is one guy in Canada

doing this as well. But none so far in the U.S. I'd take a run at

it. If for nothing more than like what the Indian said about

a member of his tribe being sent to Congress:

"We never send our smartest ones there."

Guinea pig, I...

73!

Mark
