Colin,
I assume the terminal unit is similar to the Telex unit that the GPO
used here in the UK. It contains the power unit to supply the telegraph
loop and the interface circuits to the Telex exchange line.
It's some years since I had a T100 and it got thrown out eventually. I
seem to recall that the telegraph loop supply was 80v which was common
in UK Telex.
I searched through my copy of the T100 handbook and found the attached
page inserted with wiring suggestions. This relates to a 12-way Jones
plug commonly used in UK installations. Obviously you need to supply a
telegraph power supply, which you may be able to pick up from the PMG unit.
Fellow greenkeyer, Alf Fisher, has some T100s in use in his museum and
may be able to help. There may be some other in Oz who know the PMG unit
and can help.
Cheers,
Sam
