Ken Gartland sent me a good 28 reperf hammer head as a model for
whenever I get a chance to resurrect the 3D printer that I inherited
from a friend (way too many projects!). I don't know if the 3D printer
will do the job but will experiment some day.
I did find a source with 50 of these 173979 heads - New Old Stock. -
for $9 each - but people expressed concern that their age might mean
they'd crumble after short use, so that would be an expensive gamble.
FWIW - 173979 specs
federal stock no 5815-00-084-5008
Overall height - 0.141 inches nominal
Overall length - 0.391 inches nominal
Overall width - 0.250 inches nominal
Material - Plastic
Special features - One slot, 0.047 in. w by 0.188 in. lg
