[GreenKeys] 33ASR Intermittent Double Linefeed

My 33ASR has an issue where it will occasionally do an extra linefeed
one character after the linefeed character is received.  It will do it
in LINE and LOCAL mode.   It happens fairly infrequently, but is
certainly annoying when it does.  Since most all the time a linefeed is
preceded by a carriage return, what results is the first character on
the line is printed, then the extra linefeed occurs, and the second
character prints one space over on a new line, e.g.:

(Assuming the sequence received was RETURN, LINEFEED,1,2).  What's
happening is RETURN, LINEFEED, 1, (extra)LINEFEED, 2.

 

Is the LINEFEED detector in the stunt box perhaps sticky?  If so, any
recommendations as to what to do to remedy this situation?
