     In most machines, yes. See

p. 38, drawing 1358 (Jan 29, 1931) for the original motor control
wiring. Note that this is for a governed motor powered from DC.

If you have motor stop hardware, you should be able to stop the motor
by sending the STOP character. In that case, the relay, STOP code
bar, and some extra contacts should already be present.

Unless you have the mechanical parts for recognizing STOP
(see p. 29 of the Description manual) adding a Teletype motor control
relay is kind of pointless.  If you're putting the machine under
computer control, I'd suggest just switching the entire machine power
on and off. All a Model 15 has is the motor.   (Model 19 machines
have a lot more powered stuff.)
