Good work! I had a similar linefeed problem when I had the paper roll feed over top instead from under the roll. Check the spring-loaded tension bar behind the platen. Also make sure the paper roll isn’t dragging. The paper roll has too much mass to respond quickly enough to a linefeed, so the spring loaded bar provides slack and allows the roll to catch up.

Subject: [GreenKeys] My Model 33 ASR
Today, I finished the RS232 to 20 ma loop circuit. I got a copy of a circuit from Jack, Thanks Jack. I had to separate the send and receive, because I want the computer to echo back to the printer what the keyboard sent. I also had to add a second 20ma loop for the distributor circuit. Anyway, It works. I have the dash-pot adjusted so the carriage return doesn't' bounce. But I'm having trouble with the line feeds. I believe that the trouble is the OLD paper is too thin or too slippery or too something. I used some new sheet paper and there is no line feed problem. See pictures. I'm also having trouble with the control key. My CP/M computer uses control characters and for some reason when I enter a Control C, for example, it comes out just as a C. So there is still a few minor bugs to iron out. I want to thank everyone for all the help on getting my 33 to work correctly. The next step is to connect the 33 up to my DEC PDP8E computer. Which also needs some help. But as my wife says, it keeps me home.
