[GreenKeys] [Asr-33] Printer problem

Hi,

I got an asr-33 teletype one month ago, with the wish to read and transmit
to a modern computer a mits basic altair paper tape from 1976 I bought on
ebay.

Besides this, I have a problem with the printer : the printer head
(typewheel) doesn't move (the carriage is moving however) and the hammer
initiates a move but stop without hiting the head, when I depress a key on
the keyboard.
I have found that a bearing ball was missing along the carriage drive bail
(see pic). Could it explain my problem or do I have to check elsewhere ?
