[GreenKeys] ASR33 power up/down upon RTTY reception

Looks like after the Super Bowl I'll finally have time to get back to work
on my RTTY setup. I've kind of abandoned the idea of a true, over the air
RTTY reception (due to limited over the air RTTY activity) and am looking at
a simple ITTY setup that would simulate this (ITTY -> HF TX -> HF RX -> TU
-> ASR33) using low power HF TX and RX devices (not sure what to use yet,
and would welcome suggestions).

The one part I don't have planned out yet is a way to automatically power up
and down the ASR33 upon data reception. I may not need this if I'm just
playing around or doing demos, but it would be nice to link to a periodic
news feed broadcast and have the ASR33 automatically power up, print the
news (or weather alerts or whatever), power down and wait for the next
transmission. Anyone doing this already and/or have any suggestions? I
know I can develop a simple microprocessor/power relay circuit to monitor
the data, and probably buffer it while the ASR33 powers up, but is there
anything "packaged" or "off-the-shelf" that exists for this?

Thanks,

PJ
