Hi gang:
 
I just found out something while lurking on another site.
 
If you know about this already, I apologize - -
 
If you are getting a hodge podge of letters and numbers in MMTTY when there 
 is no signal, and you want it to stop, do the following:
 
In the control panel there is a button marked "SQ". Apparently this is the  
MMTTY squelch.  Click on it and the jumble will stop.
