I think this is the same stuff that was sold for dressing tape
recorder pinch rollers. It is absolutely the most poisonous smelling
stuff I've ever encountered but it works. I've also tried belt dressing
on typewriter platens. That also works OK and stopped a problem I had
with paper feeding unevenly. I don't remember where I got it, Pep Boys
maybe. Caig Labs (Deoxit) makes a rubber conditioner advertised as low
odor under the name Caikleen, I have never tried it.
