Greetings from my own parallel universe, y'all,

Yep. I remember the book and the movie. Was even in it too. Or at least, I
have a name in common with one of the characters.
Mark Hall. I nearly dropped my beer when I read that name the first time...
There is another ham that I share a common name with.
Mark Hall, N3MTH. So, there are more of us than you might know...

I agree with Mr. Horsfall on the nature of light passing through consumable
adult liquid substances. Stouts, porters and ales are a win with me, and I
will happily swill down Imperial Stouts.

Keeping them in the man cave 'fridge discourages the fainter of heart who
love the pilsner/lager varieties (I love them for grass cutting. That's the
only time I "drink and drive" anymore! On a riding mower!) because they
don't like that dark stuff that looks like short thick-necked guys named
"Gunther" would drink. Somewhere in among the Appalachian genetics and the
Cherokee/Scottish/Irish/Oriental/Martian blood coursing through my veins is
some German blood as well. No transfusions. Shipped as-is. So I am
predisposed to imbibing mass quantities of alcohol. If I were a robot I
probably be like Futurama's "Bender"...
