Yes - the story was that today's kids are used to 
texting and capital letters are

Yikes....  and the move to blue/white digital 
BDUs and boots (on a steel deck?)  in place ot 
the more practical blue chambray shirts/ bell 
bottom dungarees or even the dickies of ten years 
ago was another kid fashion thing...
