    Yes but you just forwarded the whole thing.
    Its easy to trim posts. If you have a whole weeks worth on a digest 
remember that the SHIFT key along with the cut or delete will choose a 
whole section to delete. I did that here because there were a couple of 
pages of material.
    I get some lists where nothing is left of previous threads. That's 
as bad as too much because you have no idea of what is going on.
    I belong to about twenty five lists, most of which have some sort of 
web interface but I have the messages sent as regular e-mail and use the 
filters in the e-mail client to segrate them.  There are some "forums" 
which are strictly web based. I miss stuff because I don't remember to 
look at each one, mostly I just don't subscribe to them.
     This list seems to be pretty well run. The moderators are not 
overly rigid so one need not be nervous about getting OT sometimes. I do 
belong to a couple of mostly academic lists and am careful there to post 
only on topic but it takes the fun out when a list is too rigid.
