[GreenKeys] Teletype Model 43 ribbon

Gab, do you have more than one ribbon? Maybe you could take it to an old typewriter shop and have it shortened or maybe a new one made. Just an idea. We have a typewriter shop here in Milwaukee where I get ribbons for my TTY ASR33. I think the problem is that the Model 43 has a narrow ribbon, but it would not hurt to ask. Got it. Actually, my Model 43 is the same regarding
the path of the ribbon around those rollers, the upper
left one of which is, like yours, spring loaded.
Trouble is, the ribbon has gotten so slack that
the spring-loaded roller reaches the end of its
travel before taking up all the slack.
