[GreenKeys] Evaporust

How thin is the Evaporust material? I have some rusted 1940s era concentric shaft parts & I wonder if it will penetrate between the shaft parts. They've not yet yielded to Kroil or some of the recommended DIY mixtures (e.g., acetone & transmission fluid).
