I use Dextron II and acetone. No, it doesn't mix well and you have to shake
it up.
Because it doesn't mix well it is not meant to be a solution to suspend
parts in like
an electrolysis tank. It's meant to be poured on the parts to be separated.
It
worked for me and I continue to use it. Works for me, your mileage may vary.
Power steering fluid and Acetone? Huh, I have some of both and will
experiment.
I am looking forward to trying the molasses because 1. it is fairly
inexpensive and 2. I can
set it up in a kiddie pool for large things like rusty rims.
