I am trying to remember... is there a start cap for the motor?
We sent you links last night to the drawings and schematics did
you have a chance to go though those
we never heard back from you.

Okay so I think I may have a dead motor on my hands. When I power my ASR
on I hear a loud buzzing, and I can hear and feel it coming from the main
motor. However if I manually turn the motor shaft (clockwise), everything
in the Teletype seems to move as it should, it’s not seized. After a while
it will blow the 2A fuse nearby.
Would that about be the right diagnosis? Can the motors be rebuilt?
If anyone else has any other suggestions on stuff I can try, I’d be most
appreciative.
