[GreenKeys] ASR 33 motor buzzing

Brad,

If you're going to have to pull the motor to swap it anyway, why not pull
it now and try running it on the bench - with only the minimum required
components (relay, cap, etc.) and no load on the shaft? You can power it
from a variac, and watch what the current does during start & run phases.

It will also give you a good opportunity to measure the resistance of the
various motors windings, uninfluenced by the rest of the circuitry. I don't
have a 33 motor, but I bet Wayne would be able to quote you some reference
readings. If there's a bad or shorted winding, it should show up in a DC
test - though not 100%.
