ok!  so maybe I will play  with this  one...
 
did W7TTY  - George finish up the  hammer project  for the  Teletype brand

The TT-345 has the same printing  mechanism as the TT-76 & FGC-25.  A metal 
hammer pushes up the paper  & ribbon against a hard plastic typewheel. The 
only problem I have ever  seen was a cracked typewheel.
