My M14 KTR has a "A.C. Series" governed motor (122295, G.E. 5BA65AA77A) and
the nameplate says 1800 rpm. It's definitely a governed motor because it has
the striped speed target, springs, adjusting wheel, etc. I thought they were
always a different speed.
It works fine for now but I suppose someday I'll want to swap it for a
synchronous AC motor if only to have to be quieter and not spew ozone. Since
it claims 1800 rpm I suppose I can just directly replace it with a sync one.
