One would think that setting up a Dynamic  DNS account would be
simple.
Warning: It is if you're NOT running Google Chrome.
Set up account, email set for activation link.
Never arrives.
Go back and forth with noip tech support.
"No such account"
Tech support forces account creation.
Log in "not activated"
Tech support forces activation.
Log in "not activated"

Finally, switch to Safari browser on the iMac.
Works perfectly.
Try logging in with the Win7 box running Google Chrome.
"Not activated."
Switch to Internet Explorer.
Works perfectly.

See a pattern here? ;-)

IF the port forwarding on the AT&T modem works, you should
be able to connect to wa6fwi.ddns.net on i-Telex (and be told
the Lorenz is down.)

Several days wasted thanks to Google Chrome.
