Ken - These machine can take much abuse. I have washed them with 409 or Gunk then rinsed with water. Place it in a hot box or low temp oven to dry it out. Then apply the lube. This is all to be accomplished without the selector magnets or platen attached. It is easier if the front plate assembly is removed as well.

the lid, i saw that the printer is full of sawdust from my son's
woodworking. what is the best way to clean the print mech?
