[GreenKeys] shorted contacts on NOS mercury-wetted relays

There are a couple of WE 275A relays in the address segregator I am working
on. These are the octal plug-in "High Pressure" metal can mercury wetted
types. 275a is the 2500 ohm coil version.
However, on both relays, the 2 NO and 2 NC and armature contacts are all
shorted together.
This device is old but I don't think it was ever placed into service. I
have measured the contacts with the relay in the upright position. I have
applied voltage to the coil hoping to free up something stuck together with
mercury, but I don't hear any click-click or see any change i the shorts.

Is this a common problem with old relays of this type? Am I missing
something obvious (or otherwise). Is there any way to "rejuvenate" them?

Does anyone have any spare 275A relays that they think still work? I'd be
happy to pay $ or trade some type 314A or 255Arelays

Thanks for any help, advice, consolation, etc.
