Hello E

Best way if you do not have a scanner that can handle the fold out page
size it to let someone who does do it.

There are those on the list that will gladly do it, if what you have has
not been already scanned.

If it is made up of multiple "Bulletins" scan the cover and the issue page
of each. This will be the best way
to find out.

For me, the pages that have half tones I scan them usually higher then
others, sometimes up to 1,200 DPI,
usually 600 DPI, and save in a lossless scanner format or in TIFF. Best
being > 24 DPI for gray-scale. Then
later can be reduced. Its a lot of MB per image, but today that's cheap.

For example the scan of some of the magazines I'm archiving are approx 320
MB per scan of 12" x 18"

Regards
