[GreenKeys] Why has the '#' symbol been called a number sign, pound sign, and now 'hashtag'?

    OTOH, have you heard the curmudgeons on 75 meter phone lately? 
Well, maybe its only California, which "used to be a great state". I 
guess when the Southern Pacific ran it. I stay out of that. I would tell 
them It IS a great state and if they don't like it here the can go 
somewhere they like better. I am pretty old myself and have been accused 
of being a curmudgeon, but at least don't suffer from hardening of the 
brain like some of those folks.
    I am quite certain that within fifty years (maybe twenty) people 
will receive computer implants at birth and never have to thumb those 
hand held mini computers. Might have to stick you finger in the slot to 
buy something. "Don't take your finger out of the slot."
