I made the interface. It connects to a 8255 PPI that I have in the 8080 machine. The interface has 9 opto-isolaters. 8 for the code word and one for the translator clutch release. The isolaters drive 9 high voltage PNP transistors, which pick up each of the translator 90 volt magnets. I could share the schematic if you like.
The stop on the left, that has the extra bends on it fit snugly in the tab comb and will stop the carriage for a TAB. I'm not sure I understand what an 'end of line' is. The carriage will go past this stop. I'll have to fiddle around a little with the flat stop and see if it will work.

Mike, nice work! Out of curiosity, what kind of interface are you using to your CPM machine?
The part on the right looks like a standard tab stop to me (I have a bunch at home and they're just flat metal like that). Could the one on the left be used to force an end of line carriage return? -C

My Flexowriter is working rather well. In fact I got it connected up to my CPM 2.2 machine and it will print out ASCII files, see attachment.
Also when I picked up this machine there were some loose parts included. Two which I think are tab stops. The stop on the left in the picture is, or at least works as a tab stop, but I do not know what the item on the right is. It appears to fit in the tab comb, but will not fit tightly. Thanks
