[GreenKeys] Model 14TD carbon brushes

The local surplus store has a box full of small cardboard tubes that are labeled as Teletype motor brushes. Here's some notes I took on them a while back.
 
Brushes packed in cylindrical cardboard containers are marked:

      There were also in this "Teletype Parts" bin some contacts in plastic packaging, for $3.95 each:

The carbon brushes on my 14TD are pretty much worn out. Anybody around here with a good source where I can find new ones? Or if you have a couple new old stock or even old old stock under your bench and don't know what to do with them, please let me know. 
I have seen pics on the net of 14TD's with braided copper instead carbon brushes. The carbon probably makes better contact, more accurate and longer live time.
