[GreenKeys] Meter shunting...

While many meters would require external shunts, it’s odd that the

meter is labeled 0-100 ma. and would need a shunt. Maybe you need to be sure

the metering point you’re looking at has the series resistor for

the loop current adjustment.   Do you have any means to independently

test confirm loop current?

My express thanks for all the replies on the meter shunting

issue...

 

It never ceases to amaze me of the resources available

on Greenkeys to help others...

 

I did dis-assemble the meter in question, a Simpson

Model 127, 0-100ma...

 

There doesn't. appear to be any internal shunting...

 

They were originally used in rackmount panels to 

adjust individual loop circuits...
