    I use Simple Green, which evaporates, and rinse with
de-ionized water.  Use de-ionized water or the solids in
the water end up on the machine.  If you remove the
motor and selector magnet, and any extra relays
coils found on some models, everything else in a Model
15 can withstand immersion.

    To get some water circulation, you can use an aquarium
pump and a bubbler to churn the water a little.  Figure on
a few days of soaking.
