If you need a lot of ribbons you can buy the ribbon in bulk and wind
it onto your existing spools. I think both Baco and Jay Repsler have
bulk ribbons.
Always save old spools especially metal ones. I am not sure what
spools Teletype machines use but the ribbons seem to be the same as
those for Underwood office typewriters. These are almost universal and
fit a great many typewriters. I also don't know for certain if Teletype
machines need to have eyelets in the ribbon for automatic ribbon
reversal. I don't know where to get these but the places above may have
them. You can also just tie a knot in the ribbon near the ends.
Some typewriters use special ribbons, Royal and Remington among
them. I think Teletype uses plain Underwood type spools.
