    If you need a lot of ribbons you can buy the ribbon in bulk and wind 
it onto your existing spools. I think both Baco and Jay Repsler have 
bulk ribbons.
    Always save old spools especially metal ones. I am not sure what 
spools Teletype machines use but the ribbons seem to be the same as 
those for Underwood office typewriters. These are almost universal and 
fit a great many typewriters. I also don't know for certain if Teletype 
machines need to have eyelets in the ribbon for automatic ribbon 
reversal. I don't know where to get these but the places above may have 
them. You can also just tie a knot in the ribbon near the ends.
    Some typewriters use special ribbons, Royal and Remington among 
them. I think Teletype uses plain Underwood type spools.
