[GreenKeys] HAL CWR6850 telereader for sale locally

I have the exact same unit but paid less than that - including shipping, I ended up slightly above $100.

The telereader works extremely accurate. Copying ITTY, the Europe channel or autostart is not a problem. Hooked the unit to my HF radio and made a couple of contacts on 20 meters, using RTTY and CW mode without a flaw.

You can attach a printer on the backpanel (I don't have one).

Not sure if you can use this particular unit in association with a teletype machine to use it on RTTY to encoded/decode. Pretty sure that a smart guy can rig it up to do so.

I'm not prepared to receive one of these or else I'd probably snatch it up myself, but this came up on a local amateur radio group listing. I have no connection to the listing except that it's local to where I am.

>From the original listing:

"HAL CWR6850 telereader. Used it for HF RTTY years ago. As is. Here before I list it on eBay. $200 . Has keyboard. May have manual, but manual is available online. Looks cool in the shack!"

Located in Utah, USA. Since he plans to list it on eBay if it doesn't sell, I'm sure he's fine to do shipping. He says he'll list it on eBay in one week.

I can privately share his phone number to interested individuals.
