There is a nice looking Model 28 typing reperf on eBay:

One photo shows the gearshift. I have NEVER heard of such an arrangement before. It shows speeds 
of 65 107 and 71 WPM. An unusual combo, to say the least. (All three numbers show clearly in photo) 

65, 66 and 67 are all common speeds in various situations. I don't think that 71 would work well on 75 WPM speeds, 
nor 107 do very well on 100 WPM. 

It might be possible to remove gearshift entirely and replace with proper gears for one speed. Starting price is 
reasonable. Hope buyer is not thousands of miles from seller. This is not a 'one-hand carry' item. I grunted and 
groaned a few months back moving mine from one place to another.
