I was a fan of Hedy Lamarr's since I was young (I'm sure many young guys 
were).  Not long ago I ran across this TV interview.  It would appear to 
confirm Mr. Lawson's impression.  Putting her next to Moms Mabley may 
have been a wicked decision:
