GM OMs;
I was on a well, on a mountain top. The well was 300' deep.
The water was good-tasting but had a heck of a lot of
calcium in it.
On the plus side, I didn't have to drink milk anymore...
Story Time...
When I was in escrow while selling the ranch, the buyer asked me
to have the water tested.
I went to the county water office and asked them what I need to do.
They handed me a bottle and said that I should fill it up as close
to the pump as is possible, directly from the spigot, and write my
name/address on the bottle. Then, bring it back with a check for $10.00.
They will test it and send me the report on the water quality.
I did a "head tilt" (which is what German Shepherds are know for when
they question something). Then I said: YOU'RE giving ME the bottle
to fill up? He said: "Yeah." I said: "What's to stop me from getting
a bottle of Crystal Geyser, pouring it into this bottle - which will
Guarantee I will ace the test - and bringing it back to you?
The guy grimaced - and said: "Yeah, - you know - RIGHT?" We've told
that to upper management and they just stare at us like a deer in the
headlights... Listen, - Do yourself a favor: if things like that bother
you, don't apply for a job with the county. If it doesn't than I'm sure
we have a job for you somewhere... :-)

WHAT WOULD YOU DO ON A FIRST DATE THAT WAS TURNING
SOUR? I'd run home and play dead. The next day I
would call all the newspapers - and make sure they
wrote about me in all the dead columns.
