Thank you for all the replies!  I’m looking at cleaning a type basket that’s really gunked up (CRC Hydroforce doesn’t appear to be available locally ;o ).  Would it be possible to do a short soak in mineral spirits - to get to all of those hard-to-reach (impossible-to-reach) parts, or is just a spray recommended?  I’m looking it over and it’s going to be an interesting task.
