[GreenKeys] ITTY stream to teletypes - Dovetron only way?

There has been a lot of discussion lately about ways of getting the ITTY stream or other audio TTY streams into teletypes. I have a Western Union Model 32 (66 wpm) and a Model 33 that I are alive but need a good cleanup and lube, but I will need something to feed them since I am not a Ham (not since 1972) and don't have any RTTY gear. Is a Dovetron currently the only way to do this now? I know there are some people working on a USB to current loop board that still has to be built. I think this board is also going to need a driver of some sort written to be recognized by the PC. I also see some people are talking about using a Raspberry Pi to do some processing, but ultimately you will need to build some circuitry to provide the current loop or even the RS232 signal circuitry. So, to recap, until this happens, is the Dovetron the only game in town?
