Hello,

I started poking around in the garage to see what bits I do have.  I had 
run across some misc. 32/33 parts, a 28 type box and some manuals during 
an earlier stirring.  I also had what I was told was a BPRE at the time 
it was gifted to me.  Turns out to be a LAPR.  I can see from the piece 
of tape still in it that's it's 8 bit.

So where in the scheme of things is this useful?  It looks like they can 
be standalone or on an ASR keyboard.  Based on the manual these were 
built in the early '60s, so that kind of predates marketing to the 
computer market doesn't it?
