Hi all,
A couple of thoughts...
I'm not sure how many of the folks on Greenkeys are licensed Amateur radio Operators with the capability to get on-the-air.
If we want to get traction for this type of event, I suggest that we have monthly sessions to build support and learn by doing.
Thanks 73

Long time ago I was trying to stir up a "Green Key Night" for RTTYers.
Not a contest, no rules, but use mechanical TTY if you can, and use
850 Hz shift if you can and care to and have fun.  I tried to have it
on Feb 23rd which is the anniversary of the date the FCC first allowed
hams to use FSK on the HF bands.  Got very little participation - maybe
I should have tried for a weekend instead.  I felt like Linus in Peanuts
going house to house trying to tell people about the Great Pumpkin.
