[GreenKeys] M28 type box vertical alignment

I have an early M28 typing unit that does not have the type box alignment
adjustment mod.
My characters are light at the bottom and darker at the top. It is
perfectly readable but it would be nice if the characters were more uniform.
I can find the adjustment info for the version that has the type box
alignment adjustment plate with an eccentric screw, but I can't find any
info for the version without this mod. Is vertical adjustment possible?
