[GreenKeys] Ribbon Warning

My vague memory of the ribbons supplied for the Extel printers used by AP and UPI is that theywere indeed the nylon ribbons.  It was my understanding that because of the dot matrix print headon the Extel, the pins could possibly snag in the coarser weave of the cotton ribbons and requireservice for the print head.

I've had sort of the opposite experience with dot-matrix printers.  Nylon
was more expensive, cannot be re-used, but gave a crisper print (important
when you are submitting scripts for broadcast[*]) whereas cotton tended to
smudge.

I think I ended up doing the draft on cotton, and the final on nylon.

Then we got cheap laser printers :-)

VK2WI, if anyone cares; I was Broadcast Officer for years.
